The Schools NI app will be used to send important messages and notices to parent/guardians.  We have stopped using our old text messaging system.The NI Schools App helps enhance the communication between home and school and it will help to reduce our carbon footprint. And by using the app it will help to reduce the number of paper letters that we send home. 

Download the App from the links from either the Google Play Store for Android devices or the App store for Apple devices.

Most parents have now downloaded the App and have already verified their phone numbers. Below are the steps for those who haven't yet downloaded the app or verified their number to enable private messaging from the school.

Once downloaded, search for Long Tower Primary School. Once the school has been selected, you will need to verify your phone number in order to receive private messages from the school. Click on Messages and then click on the first message which will appear as 'Are you a parent/guardian?'. This should then allow you to verify your phone number. 

You should contact the school office if:

1) Your phone number has changed.

2) You would like an additional parent/guardian's phone number to be an added to the App's contact list.

3) Your phone number is not working when attempting to verify it.
