We were blessed to welcome the family of Sr. Clare Crockett and Father Mongan to the school this week to celebrate our fundraising of £1,600. 'A Dream of the Lord', composed by Mr. Gallagher, was inspired by the life of Sr. Clare and recorded by our pupils before being shared online. It has since become a firm favourite for our school choir to perform at weekly masses.
The Servant Sisters of the Home of the Mother (SHM) announced Sister Clare will be declared a “Servant of God” and the cause for the beatification will be officially opened on 12th of January 2025.
As such, our school will make the donation of £1,600 will be donated to the Servant Sisters of the Home of the Mother on this day. We would like to thank the Long Tower family and beyond for all donations and support in our fundraising efforts.
