Primary 6 made catapults today from lollypop sticks and elastic bands as part of a STEM investigation into how catapults work. The children learnt about how stored energy is released to hurl the 'payload'. The children loved trying the catapults out and enjoyed measuring which 'payload' travelled the furthest.
