Primary 4, 5, 6 and 7 were treated to an unbelievable musical experience all the way from Phoenix, Arizona this afternoon. The Mill Ave Chamber Players visited our school to perform some fantastic pieces as well as providing some information about the instruments making up the ensemble. These amazing musicians are in town for the Walled City Chamber Music Festival. We thank Fiona Crosbie for bringing the group to visit Long Tower.
Mill Ave Chamber Players have recorded three albums: Impressions (2018) with commissions by John Steinmetz, Kerry Turner, Thomas Breadon, Jessica Meyer and Robert Springer; What the Birds Said (2016) with the music of John Steinmetz; and Mill Ave Chamber Players (2014).
