Long Tower was delighted to welcome 'Joyology' to school today to help introduce pupils to Jazz and Blues. Pupils were given a brief history of Jazz music, which startesd life in 1900s America and was influenced greatly by the different nationalities who settled in this country.
Joyology performed some well known hits; Smile, Georgia on My Mind, Come Rain or Come Shine, Isn't She Lovely and Route 66! Pupils had the opportunity to join in scat singing, improvising melodies and rhythms for a terrific performance. A huge thanks to Live Music Now, for organising this amazing concert for our pupils!
